Phillip R. Tilotta, Jr., 73, passed away on the 16th of February 2015 at his residence. He was born on the 8th of March 1941 in Houston, to Phillip R. Tilotta, Sr. and Monty Ola Booth.

He was an insurance salesman for Prudential Insurance and retired from there after many years. He worked part time for Palace Bowling Lanes since his retirement and worked there until his death.

Phil was an active member of Sacred Heart Association
and enjoyed eating pasta with his many friends each week at the association.

Phil loved all sports and was at one time an avid bowler and golfer. He was inducted into the Houston Bowling Hall of Fame.

He never met a stranger and was a loyal friend, many that he has known since elementary school. He was known as a loving and generous man with a giving heart. Phil will be missed by all his family and many friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Malanga and husband, Robert, of Houston and Sherri Greenwood of Houston; his sister, Annette White and husband, Richard, of Pottsboro; and nephew, Michael White and wife, Brooke, of Katy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Caitlyn Payne, Cadel Malanga, Francesc Malanga; and many close relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening on Friday, the 20th of February at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. The Rosary is to be conducted by the Sacred Heart Society of Little York beginning at seven o' clock, immediately following the visitation, in the Jasek Chapel at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons. The funeral service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 21st of February in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons with Deacon Edwin Gosline as the celebrant. The interment will follow, via an escorted cortege, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.

In lieu of the customary remembrances, and for those desiring, the family requests memorial contributions in Phil's name be directed to the Sacred Heart Association, 816 E. Whitney, Houston, Texas 77022.
