Alfred H. (Red) Strosnider, 54, well-known Waynesburg Printer and former Central Greene school board member, died very unexpectedly at 6 p.m Friday, August 28, 1970, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Strosnider was playing in a Shriners golf tournament at the Pittsburgh Field Club when the coronary occlusion came.

A son of Roy and Eva Haines Strosnider, he was born November 25, 1915, at Waynesburg. He resided most of his life at Waynesburg, where he was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class of the church.

Mr. Strosnider was very active in various Masonic circles. He was a past master of the Free and Accepted Masons 153, at Waynesburg, and at the time of his death was secretary of the chapter. He was a member of the Pittsburgh consistory, the Syria Shrine, a past president of the Washington-Greene Caravan Number Two, the Potentantes' Divan and other Masonic bodies.

For several years Mr. Strosnider was an active member of the Central Greene School Board and was presently assistant secretary of the Central Greene School Authority.

A graduate of Waynesburg high school in 1934, he was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army in the Carribean. For many years Mr. Strosnider owned and operated the Strosnider Printing Company and was a former member of the Waynesburg Volunteer Fire Company.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Spitznogle Strosnider, whom he married August 14, 1940; two sons: Pvt. John Strosnider, at Fort Dix, N.J.; and Charles, at home; and one brother, John H., of Baltimore.
