He was born on March 19,1958 in Manitowoc, son of Janet (Pingel) Havel and the late Emil Havel. Ed attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On October 8, 1988 he married the former Mary Cavanaugh at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Ed was employed at Eck Industries as a molder for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, two children, a grandson,his mother: Janet Havel and three brothers. He is further survived by many family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Michael Cavanaugh and Larry Pieschel.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc.
