Anna Mae Anderson, 57, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015, sy Freeman Hospital in Joplin Mo. She was born on June 11, 1957, to Maynard and Rachel (Murphy) Anderson in St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was the youngest of three children. She grew up in Rose Hill, Ks. and attended Derby Public School and Andover Assembly of God Church until the age of 7.
Anna Mae was admitted to PSH&TC on January 28, 1965. Anna Mae loved to watch sports - particularly KU Basketball. She enjoyed decorating her room in KU memorabilia. She enjoyed shopping for new purses and watches and loved to draw pictures. She had a passion for Jolly Ranchers, in particular the apple and fire flavored ones. Anna Mae loved her family and often spoke of her sister Sandra and her brother Maynard II (Buddy). Anna Mae enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Richard, and attending several special celebrations with such as Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and the annual Luau. Anna Mae enjoyed working at Copies and More for many years.
