She was employed at Owens-Illinois Glass Company and General Telephone Company until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Business and Professional Women's Club and several bridge clubs. She was a 1940 graduate of Streator High School.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (Paula) of Streator; a daughter, Jane (Gerald) Battles of Ottawa; four grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Marilyn Smith and Carol Holland, both of Streator.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Hansen.
