Johnnie H. Camps, age, 59, died Aug. 24, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Camps was born in Gainesville, FL to the late James Camps, Sr., and Lola Dennis Camps. He was a Bus and Taxi Driver. Johnnie was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1965.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Camps, Alachua, FL. Son; Jeffery Camps, San Maria, CA. Daughter; Katrina Ward, Gainesville, FL. Brothers; James Camps, Jr., Louis Camps, and Edward Camps, all of Gainesville, FL. Sisters; Pauline Walker, and Jane Dickerson, both of Gainesville, FL.

Funeral Services for Mr. Camps will be held 11am, Sat. Sept. 2, 2006, at the Female Protective Temple, Gainesville, Fl, with Bishop Walter Camps, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Newnanslake Church of God By Faith Cemetery, Gainesville, FL. Mr.

Camps will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Fri., from 2-8pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at Landmark Holy Temple of God, 1220 N. E. 23rd Ave., Gainesville, FL, at 10:15am to form the cortege.

Arrangements are under the care of CHESTNUT FUNERAL HOME, LNC., 18 N. W. 8th Ave., Gainesville, FL.
