Lora (Bishop) Turner
Age 93, of LeGrande, Kentucky died at Caritas Medical Center.

Daughter of:
Porter and Bessie (Nunn) Bishop

She was a well-known and respected businesswoman.

She was known as the first lady of milk hauling in Kentucky, having started her business in 1946. She operated a dairy, agriculture products and cattle operation, and was an avid gardener known as "Mammaw Turner" and "Aunt Lora".

She was a member of Cosby United Methodist Church.

She was a Kentucky Colonel commissioned by Gov. John Y. Brown.

In 2004, she received the C.H. Robinson Hauler of the Year award.

Predeceased by:
Her parents; two sisters: Stella Riordan and Opal Sydnor; and three brothers: Roy Bishop, Floyd Bishop and Coy "Bully" Bishop.

Survivors:
Two sons: Kenneth Turner and Lee Roy Turner (Joyce); six grandchildren: Judy Jones, Gary Turner, Lynda Minton, Jo Ann Jewell, Kenny "K.T." Turner and Diane Turner; sixteen great-grandchildren; twenty great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Bernice Allen; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral services held at Winn Funeral Home.
