Funeral service for Gordon Lee Varner, 83, will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Joe Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery. Mr. Varner passed away October 15, 2014 at CVMC. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Varner; brother, Willie Varner; sisters, Eveline Abrams, Bunie Mae McDonald and Mary Esther Varner. She is survived by daughter, Sybil Varner Roark of Harvest, AL; sister, Margie Epperson; grandchildren, David Tomlinson (Dana) of Sylacauga, Laura Tomlinson Confer of Richmond, VA; Josh Tomlinson (Leah) of Harvest, AL; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel.
