Shane S. "Ozzy" Osborne, age 38, of 4747 W. Whitetail Ct., Manitowoc passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following a 23 month battle with brain cancer. He is now resting in the arms of his Savior.

Shane was born on February 9, 1977 in Asheville, NC, son of Robert Osborne and Donna (Ferguson) Osborne. Shane was a 1995 graduate of Stockbridge High School and moved to Manitowoc in 1996. Through Baptism he became a member of God's family and was Confirmed in his faith in Bartlett, IL. On July 6, 2002 Shane was married to Holly M. Stecker at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. He had his faith reaffirmed through adult Confirmation on August 14, 2005 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. Shane was the plant manager of Stecker Manufacturing, retiring in September of 2014 due to illness.

Shane was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church, an avid Chicago Bear fan, he enjoyed golfing, motorcycling and playing cards with the guys especially taking their money away. Shane loved his family especially his time spent with his two children.

Survivors include his wife: Holly M. Osborne, Manitowoc; his two children: Jackson Shane and Ella Marie, at home; father: Robert (Linda) Osborne, NC; mother: Donna (David) Solar, GA; one brother: Daniel Osborne, NC; one sister and brother-in-law: Rebecka Solar (Aaron Carnegie), GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gerald and Donna Stecker, Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jennifer (Brad) Kurtzweil, Manitowoc; Karen (Matt) Oswald, Manitowoc; Brian (Laura) Stecker, Manitowoc; Linda (David) Mills, Manitowoc; 19 nieces and nephews: David, Gavin, Chase and Lacie Solar; Grace and Henry Kurtzweil; Samuel and Madeline Oswald; Logan, Ana, Mara, Brielle and Eva Stecker; Nile, Tristan, Jacob, Lola, Lucas and Lucy Mills, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother; Johnathon David Solar; one maternal grandfather: Donald Lee Ferguson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Benjamin Schaefer and Rev. Christopher Hoppe will officiate. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Fund has been established for First German Ev.
