Alma Bailey Arnett, age 82, of Salyersville, Ky., passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was born March 11, 1932, in Salyersville, Ky., to the late Tone and Della Mann Bailey.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by one son, Paul Edward Arnett, one daughter, Burma Bailey Gamble, three sisters, Zonia Montgomery Triggs, Beatrice Gullett and Rissie Bailey.
She was the wife of Aaron Arnett, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons David Aalan (Teresa H) Arnett of Salt Lick, Ky., and Matthew Noel Arnett of Salyersville, Ky., one daughter, Aaretta Sue Arnett of Salyersville, Ky., two sisters, Ada Bailey of Ezel, Ky., and Tressie Harvey of Salyersville, Ky., seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, with Eugene Haney and Jim Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mann Cemetery at Bloomington, Kentucky.
Friends may visit the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, all day Friday and anytime Saturday prior to funeral services.
