Art Cross, 90, of Minden died in the Kearney County Community Hospital January 5, 1982. Mr. Cross, a native of Plattsmouth, managed grain elevators at Maywood, Heartwell, and retired while managing an elevator at Norman. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War I, a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, the American Legion Post No. 94 of Minden and the WWII Veterans of Minden. Surviving are his wife, Anna of Minden; one sister, Edith Elliott of Sacramento Calif., and one brother Les Cross of Sheridan, Wyo. Rosary was recited in St. John’s Catholic Church where services were held. Burial was in Minden Cemetery.
