Barbara Rose (Molisee) Stover was born in Morgantown, WV, on June 3, 1930, to George Washington Molisee and Ada Violet (Clark) Molisee Boggs (1904-1993); she was joined three years later by her only sibling, William F. Molisee (1933-1986).

She married the love of her life, Elias R. Stover on August 21, 1946. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1992. Their first child, Sandra Lynn, was born prematurely the next year, but sadly only lived 25 days. All of these loved ones met her when she arrived in Heaven on Wednesday February 25, 2015 with her daughters by her side.

Barbara is survived by sons, Richard (Evelyn) Stover, Allison Park, PA and Jack (Maribeth) Stover, Newark, OH, and daughters, Donna (John) Rusinko, Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Sharon (Jim) Overmier, Pickerington, OH. Surviving also are her seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Grayson, Kristin Rusinko, Eric (Megan) Stover, Barbara (Josh) Boyd, Amy (James) Holt, Adam (Emily) Stover and Daniel (Emily) Stover, as well as her seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Boyd, Cayden Stover, Cathryn Boyd, Elias Holt, Violet Stover, Alexander Boyd and Zion Holt. Surviving also is her special 'son and daughter,' Loi Tan Do and Monique Do, Houston Texas; sisters-in-law, Lucinda Molisee and Shirley Stover; many nieces and nephews., and her life-long friend, Doris Ott Dalton of Morgantown, WV.

Barbara was employed by Aliquippa Hospital in the late 1960's and worked as an LPN, and continued working while attending classes at CCBC while working to become an RN, continuing her education, graduating Suma Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University at age 60 with her BSRN. She worked in OB as an LPN and then as an RN she was in Outpatient Surgery, Recovery Room, ICU, CCU, ER, 3 West and Medical/Surgical wings. She loved Aliquippa Hospital and was a dedicated nurse. This was evident during the early months of her residence at West Hills Health and Rehabilitation, Moon Township. The staff was so loving and caring, that they had Mom 'help them' chart info, and make rounds checking on the other residents. Special thanks to her caregivers, Kama, Kim R., Maria, Tess, Gaye, Natalie, Cindy, Michelle and Kathy. Thanks also to Annova Hospice nurse Sam and aide Vivian for their care during Mom's final months.

Barbara was very active with her church - Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Raccoon Township, until she was unable to drive herself from her home in Hopewell Twp. She was a Sunday School teacher and a women's Bible study teacher in the 1990's and early 2000's.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the DARROCH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 12 noon, with Pastor Richard Herbster officiating.

Interment will follow in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, PA.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
