Antonetta, or "Nana" was Aunt to my wife Denise Purington, nee Dello Russo. Nana brought Denise to her first Red Sox game in 1967 and because of that, she was hooked on baseball and the Red Sox!
Nana lived her whole life between East Boston and Revere, Ma. She was the daughter of Enrico "Henry" and Catherine Dello Russo, nee Catanzaro. She was sister to Denise's dad, Joseph "Red" Dello Russo, Henry Dello Russo Jr., and Anthony "Midge" Dello Russo, as well as sister to Catherine "Tootsie", Josephine "Josie", and Angelina "Angie" Dello Russo. Both Angie and Nana never married, but devoted the lives to their parents and later to their mother, as well as being loving Aunts!
