Mr A J 'Drew' Amerson, 68 years of age, died at the home of his sister, Mrs John Gaultney, near Butler, Monday morning. Mr Amerson suffered a stroke of Paralysis a week ago and had been in critical condition since that time.

Mr Amerson was twice wed, his first wife being, Miss Julia Barfield. After her death he was married to Mrs Dora Ranow, who also preceded him in death a few years ago.

Funeral services were held at Turners Chapel Church at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning with the rev John M Cox in charge. Interment was in the churchyard.

Survivors include three adopted children: Miss Bernice Ranow, of Thomaston;. Mrs M H Finnegan, of New Orleans, LA; and Paul Ranow, of the US Army now stationed at Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Mrs John Gaultney and Mrs Nessie Pitts of this county; also a number of other near relations.
