Marian L. Schipper, age 75, of 1558 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Care Partners in Manitowoc.
Marian was born November 21, 1939 in Ashland, daughter of the late Herbert J. and Natalie S. (Gorski) Schipper. Marian graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1957. Marian worked as a stewardess for United Airlines and also worked at the Holiday House in Manitowoc. She enjoyed sketching, painting, eating at Beerntsen's and loved to walk. Marian was an avid pet lover, especially dogs.
Survivors include one brother: Michael H. Schipper, Green Bay; two nephews: Tim (Shellee) Schipper and their children: Eli and Simon, Fond du Lac; Scott Schipper, CA; one niece: Tamra Schipper Waterman and her husband Andrew Waterman and their children: Ava, Ryder, Piper and Wiley, Lake Delton, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert J. and Natalie S. Schipper.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate with burial of her cremated remains will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
