Philip E. McGuire
Philip E. McGuire, aged 56, of 1403-1/2 Oak Hill Ave, died of a heart attack at 6:30 p. m. Friday in South Side Hospital.
Born Nov. 15, 1894 in Youngstown, he was the son of Charles and Margaret Higgins McGuire. Mr. McGuire was a railroader with the New York Central Railroad until he became ill a year ago. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of St. Patrick Church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen.
He leaves his wife, the former Marguerite Rochford, whom he married 19 years ago; his mother of Youngstown; three sons, Philip, David, and Richard; and two daughters, Sally Ann and Mary Margaret, all at home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home, where friends may call this evening and Sunday afternoon and evening.
