Harry was a teacher and head of the English Department at Natick High School in Natick, Massachusetts. He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he served from September 13, 1943 until October 11, 1945. While serving in World War II as an Aerial Gunner #611, he fought in battles at Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland. Harry earned the EAME Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars, and the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.
Harry is survived by his brother-in-law: John Murray (wife Patricia) of Eugene, Missouri, and a niece: Jackie Macleod (husband Monte) of Eugene, Missouri.
Entombment will be held at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In Lieu of Flowers, expressions of sympathy should be made to a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
