Rodney D. Jahnke, 68, Maribel, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at his home. He was born November 20, 1946 in Green Bay, son of the late Edward and Linda (Edinger) Jahnke. Rodney graduated from Denmark High School, and farmed all his life on the family farm in Cooperstown. He married Merrijane Boyle in 1984.

Rodney enjoyed organic farming, politics and football. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and was active member in the Cooperstown community.

Survivors include his two daughters, Amelia (Josh) Pantzlaff, Luxemburg, and Johanna (Mike) Schneider, Maribel; one granddaughter, Katelyn; brothers and sisters: Glenn (Sherry) Jahnke, Gloria Kane, and Mark (Jean) Jahnke; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Larry Kane.

Family and friends may visit Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Denmark from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating. Interment will be in West Danish Cemetery, Denmark.
