10/9/1975- Tuttle Times:
Funeral services for Mrs Elma Lindsay, 74, of Route 1, Tuttle, were held Monday, Oct 6, in the Sowers Memorial chapel in Tuttle. Rev Alvin McConnell officiated. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery under direction of Sevier funeral home. Mrs Lindsay was born 11/14/1901 in Marshall, Ark. She married Edd Lindsay on 2/6/1917 in VanBuren, Ark. They moved to Oklahoma in 1929, settling in the Minco area. They later moved to Tuttle in 1940. Mrs Lindsay, a housewife, was a member of the United Methodist church and the Tuttle Rebeccah Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Edd, a daughter, Imogene Tillman of Gallup, N.M., 2 sons, Eddie and Jimmie Lindsay, both of Tuttle, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death, Lorene Johnson in 1967, Hazel Caviggie in 1961, & Donna Henderson in 1973. Pallbearers were Webb Lakin, Sherman Brown, Clyde Jones, Carl Meyers, Troy Streber, & John Chaney. Music was furnished by Jim Arganbright, soloist, and Dianna Hardest, organist.

Services for Mrs Elmira Lindsey were conducted Monday, Oct 6, in the Sowers Memorial chapel with Rev Alvin McConnell delivering the eulogy.

Mr & Mrs Hank Tillian, of Marlow, were here to attend the funeral of Mrs Ed Lindsey on Oct 6. Mrs Linsey was the grandmother of Mr Tillian.
