Mildred Ruth Franzmeier, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Harmony Residence in Two Rivers.

Milly was born October 31,1926 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Elwood and Elma (Mueller) Ahrens. On May 24, 1947 she married Otto Franzmeier Jr. In Two Rivers where they were lifelong residents. She worked at Branch River Country Club and then cooked in the Deli at Pick 'N Save (formerly Red Owl) for 21 years.

Survivors include her three children: Dian (Mike) Polich Sr., Two Rivers; John (Monica) Franzmeier, Iron River, MI; and Peggy Franzmeier, Appleton. She is further survived by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren: Michelle (Chris) Slaby: Emma and Drew, Two Rivers; Mike (Ann) Polich Jr.: Madelyn, Isaiah, and Aubrey, Two Rivers; Mark (Jodie) Polich: Kalin and Nora, Sheboygan; Zack (Stacey) Franzmeier,: Alexis, Ashlyn, Alyssa and Carter, Crivitz; Jake (Lynn) Franzmeier: Jase and baby due in March, Seymour; Jeff (fiance Lindsay) Franzmeier, Crivitz; a sister-in-law: Alice Cronn, Sun City Center, FL and sons: Jim Jr. and Jack and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, an infant brother and sister, great grandson Colton Franzmeier, in-laws Otto Sr. and Angie Franzmeier, brother-in-law: Jim Cronn and her travel buddy, Bernice Dassler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joan Frost. Burial will follow at Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
