Brad was serving his first tour of duty in Iraq, after having previously served nine months in Afghanistan. He is a graduate of Cabell Midland High School and had been attending Marshall University until his enlistment. Fulks had planed to continue pursuing his degree at Marshall after his enlistment was complete. He graduated from Cabell with honors and he trained with special forces. To be special forces you have to be intellegent and you have to have a good head on your shoulders and Brad had these things. He was very very proud to go serve his country. He was born a son of William and Kimberly. He is also survived by two sisters, Amanda and Christina; maternal grandmother, one niece, one nephew and and a special friend, Megan. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy M. and Catherine Fulks; maternal grandfather, Ralph Hatton. He was 23.
