Dr. Carol C. Willhite was born in Waukegan, Illinois; the daughter of Guy C. Campbell and Celia Brownlow. She passed away with her family and friends by her side after an extended illness.
Carol came to Utah in 1942 when her father took a position with the Union Pacific Railroad.
She graduated from West High School in 1948. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the University of Utah's nursing program. Later, she was awarded a Masters degree in Mental Health Nursing and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Counseling from Brigham Young University.
On September 8, 1951, she married Jed B. Willhite at Saint Peters Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is survived by her husband Jed, three children, Calvin C. Willhite of Novato, Calif.; Bruce B. Willhite of Omaha, Neb.; and Catherine G. Voutaz (husband Kurt) of Herriman, Utah; and five grandchildren, Brannon, Colton, Emily, Lisa, and Chandler.
Carol lived in Davis County, Utah for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Bountiful Community Church since 1956 and a member of Bethsaida Chapter #22 Order of Eastern Star.
