Mrs. Ernestine Franks Baker, age 73, of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on July 7, 2014, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Baker will be conducted on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Victor Hassell officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery of Yorkville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Baker was born July 22, 1940 in Gibson County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Mae Gathings Franks. Mrs. Baker retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Baker is survived by son, Jeff Pruett; grandson, Johnathan Pruett; sisters (daughters), Judy Hassell, and Shelby Poole. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Baker; son, Wallace Pruett; daughter, Kay Smith; brother, Doug Franks and her parents.
