Betty Jean Bateman, age 81, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Haven of Lakeside Care Center in Lakeside, Arizona.

She was born August 25, 1933 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Thomas Lavern Amos and Elizabeth Mae Brown Amos.

Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all who were around her. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Betty" on the White Mountains. She loved to do bead work, to go hunting and especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Wanda Caswell, Mary Linn, Gail Busse and Waynette Dodd. 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. 6 brothers and sisters: Lois Hansen, Melva Fletcher, Doris Robinette, Roy Amos, Jimmy Amos and Johnny Amos.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lakeside, Arizona. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
