Claytie Arnold Lowe, age 89, of Murfreesboro went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2015.

She was born on June 22, 1925 to the late H.P. Arnold and Hattie Donnell Arnold. She and her late husband, Ira Lee Lowe, were married for 53 years.
Mrs. Lowe was a committed Christian and a member of Hoover's Gap Methodist Church. She graduated from Buchanan High School in 1937 and also completed Business College. Mrs. Lowe was employed by the late Tommy Martin's Insurance Company and retired from the V.A. Federal Credit Union.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Lowe Kelley and her husband, Grant; three grandchildren: Jennifer Kelley Carper and her husband Brian, Lori Kelley Turnbow and her husband Whit, Brian Lee Kelley and his wife Amanda; five great-grandchildren, Emma and Anna Kate Carper, Reagan and Connor Turnbow, Landon Kelley; two sisters, Eliza Arnold Hatchett Sissom, Navetta Arnold James and her husband Edmund; and ten nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. S.P. Arnold, Carl Arnold, and Roy J. Arnold.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 8 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Funeral Services on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Raymond Albright and Bro. Mike Hoffman will officiate.

Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
