Born in Cleveland County on June 15, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Crawford and Arzie Lankford Baker. She worked as a cosmetic salesperson for Eckerd Drug and Belks for Estee Lauder. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Landmark Baptist Church. She loved lifes and loved time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Phillip Yelton; a son, Randy Scott Yelton; and a grandson, Torry Yelton.
Lib is survived by two sons, Al Yelton of Kansas, and Tony Yelton and wife Bertha of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Lori Yelton of Shelby; and five grandchildren, T.J. and Ryan Donohue, Sage Yelton, Elijah Yelton, Waylon Yelton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
