Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Dr. Otto Herman Buckley, 67, Gadsden, who died Monday, March 5, 2007. The Rev. James Fields Jr. will officiate. Entombment at Crestwood Mausoleum. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Dr. Buckley was a native of Kansas and a 17-year resident of Gadsden. He retired as a United Methodist Minister after 49 years, having last pastored at St. Mary United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Delorise Buckley

Dr. Otto Herman "OH" Buckley died earlier this week. The service will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at Collier Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 9 at the funeral home.

Bishop Willimon reflects, "Although Rev. Buckley was an elder of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) denomination, he had an important ministry here in the North Alabama Conference with the United Methodist Church serving a number of our congregations in the Gadsden area. We are grateful for his ministry among us."

During his years of service here in North Alabama Rev. Buckley served the Stevenson Circuit; Pleasant Grove UMC; Haven/Glen Addie Christian Mission; Haven Memorial UMC and St. Mary's UMC.
