Wanda Joyce Lyons Wright, 81, of Corydon, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born February 1, 1934, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Robert Woodrow and Loretta Gail Schueler Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Robert H. Lyons and Jesse Wright and her son, Paul E. Lyons.
Survivors include her sons, Robert H. Lyons, Jr. (Joanna) of Greenfield, Indiana, Larry “Joe” Lyons (Karen) of New Salisbury, Indiana, Mark A. Lyons of Corydon and Samuel R. Lyons (Nancy) of Sulphur, Indiana; her daughter, Debra Kay Hudson (Bob) of Palmyra, Indiana; her brother, Charles R. “Chuck” Arnold (Carolyn) of Corydon; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor David Ledger will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Bobby, Mark, Joe and Sam Lyons, Bob Hudson and Chuck Arnold.
