Karl W. Kalk, 76, of 729 N. 7th St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 24, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard E. Lind will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Kalk was born July 6, 1906, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and Emma Mahler Kalk Sr. He married Florence Jacobsen Oct. 2, 1953, at Manitowoc. Mr. Kalk was a truck driver for Manitowoc County for 19 years. He was also employed by Northern Wisconsin Produce Company as a truck driver. He was retired from Mirro Aluminum Corporation in 1970 where he had been employed as a machinist assistant. Mr. Kalk was a member of Machinist Union Local 516.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Marvin and Lorraine Kalk of Manitowoc, and Roger Kalk of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Eunice and Charles Douglas of Reno, Nev., and Dorothy and David Abramovich of Manitowoc; four brothers, George Kalk of Cleveland, Wis., Paul Kalk of Sheboygan, Clarence Kalk of Spring Hill, Fla., and William Kalk Jr., of West Bend; a sister, Mrs. Viola Hermann of Cleveland, Wis.; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
