Funeral services for Mr. Marlin Allen, 70, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Tuesday, February 14, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County.
Mr. Allen passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.
He was born May 15, 1935, in Jackson County to the late Hickman and Alice Haney Allen.
On June 8, 1966, he was married to the late Peggy Mayberry Allen, who passed away on January 21, 1984.
Mr. Allen was a factory worker and farmer. He was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Henry Lee Allen; and
1 Sister; Louise Ramsey.
Survivors include 1 Daughter: Melissa Allen Crabtree of the Shiloh community of Jackson Co. TN;
2 Grandchildren: Ryan Allen Crabtree and Nolan Michael Crabtree;
2 Brothers and 1 Sister-in-Law: Morgan & Louise Allen of Cookeville, TN, and Johnny Hugh Allen of Sparta, TN;
1 Sister: Margie Hamlet of Gainesboro, TN; a Special Niece: Terri Beth Barlow of Livingston, TN; and a Special Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law: Daisy & Terry Pryor of Gainesboro, TN.

Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Rev. Billy Haney will officiate at the services.
