Edith Frasch, age 99, a Two Rivers WI resident, died Friday morning, April 27, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers. Edith was born on November 29, 1918 in Two Rivers, WI, daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Kates) Palzer.
She was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School.
On May 29, 1946 she married George Frasch in Sarasota, FL. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2002.
Edith was the secretary to the Chief of Police in Two Rivers until her retirement. She was a life long learner and her greatest enjoyment in her retirement years was wintering in Florida with her husband George. Edith also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law:
five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren;
one sister; Evelyn Stangel, Two Rivers~~ deceased 1922-2020;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was also preceded in death by one son Gregory Frasch;
one son-in-law Rick Kloiber;
one sister and two brothers-in-law: Florence and Robert Buchner, Danny Stangel;
five sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marcella Frasch, Alice and Barney Daul, Edna and Tony Rosman, Gertrude and Howard Lawler, Marie and Ted Neuenberger, Bernard Frasch.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Maurice Mmegbaudimma with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers, at a later date.The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
