Eunice D. Deprey, age 79, of 1050 S. 39th St., Apt. B, Manitowoc, died early on Sunday morning, Nov. 11, 2007, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Eunice was born on March 20, 1928, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy (Merrill) Peroutka. She graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1947, and from the Certified Nursing Assistant Program at Lakeshore Technical Institute. On Aug. 2, 1947, she married Donald Deprey at St. Mark Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Eunice and Don were residents of Shawano for 15 years (1976-1991). She was a nursing assistant at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, and Shawano Community Hospital. Eunice was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center, the Forever Young Club at the YMCA, and a Girl Scout leader. She was an avid card player, especially Bridge. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and also reading.

Survivors include her husband: Donald G. Deprey, Manitowoc; five children: Pamela Smith, Manitowoc; Leonard (Ellen) Deprey, Eau Claire; Richard Deprey, St. Petersburg, Fla.; James Deprey and special friend, Diana, Manitowoc; and Lisa Olmsted, Marion; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several in-laws; a special friend: Margaret Allie; other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a son: Peter Deprey; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Blanche Deprey; and several in-laws.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Waldo Site, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial Mass will be the Rev. Gerald Foley. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Waldo Site on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
