She attended local schools in the School Hill area. On December 5, 2004 she was united in marriage to Michael Hanson in Howards Grove. Charmaine was employed at Leverenz Shoe Company for many years. She was a current member of Bethany Reformed Church and enjoyed dancing, scrapbooking, gardening and tending to her flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Hanson, of Sheboygan; two children, Germaine (Dennis) Bright, of Kiel, Lloyd Faust, of Shirley, WI; four step children, Jamie (Brian) Pool, Stacy (Todd) Thimler, John (Vanessa) Hanson, Jason (friend Casey) Hanson; nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two brothers, Burdelle Rust and Daryl (Lorna) Rust and her sister, Verla Piela. Charmaine is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service for Charmaine will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Town of Sheboygan with Rev. Philip Rose officiating. Family and friends may call at the cemetery chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M..
