Mr. Andrew Jackson was born on June 7, 1852 at Edgar Springs, Mo. He passed away on March 6, 1942, making his age at time of death 89 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was married to Nancy McClendon at the age of 19, and to this union were born seven children. Marion Jackson and Ollie Merrill who preceded him in death, J. D. Jackson, James Jackson and G. W. Jackson all of Chouteau, Okla., and Cora Harlen of Claremore, Okla.
His first wife preceded him in death 24 years ago. Then he married Rosa Foster in the fall of 1917. To this union there were no children born.
He has 31 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, his wife and many friends to mourn his going.
He united with the Baptist Church in 1896 and has lived a true Christian life ever since.
Funeral Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Craddock School house by Rev. Snider, and burial was in the Craddock Cemetery under the direction of Smith and Ferguson.
