Adeline Dyer Rites Slated For Saturday
Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Adeline Ruth Dyer, 54, of 1220 W. Pine St., Lodi, who died Thursday in a Lodi hospital from injuries sustained Saturday in an automobile accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol office in Placerville, El Dorado County, the accident occurred nine miles east of Placerville when the care driven by her husband was struck by an auto, on U.S. Highway 50.
Mrs. Dyer was treated by a Placerville physician after the accident and released. Later Saturday night she became ill and was admitted to Lodi Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Lincoln Valley, N.D. and attended schools in McClusky, N.D. She came to California in 1935 and lived in Oakland and Stockton before moving to Lodi about nine years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Dyer of Lodi, and was the daughter of Mrs. Jacob Ehrlich, also of Lodi. Additional survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Esther Burgstahler of Lodi, Mrs. Clara Aipperspach of Oakland, and Mrs. Hilda Felchle of Denhoff, N.D.; and two brothers, Jacob Korus and Walter Korus, both of Lodi.
