He was born September 26, 1915, at Steelton, a son of Tasse and Theressa Maria (Behoveist) Abrashoff. He was married to Sara Gilbert of Mount Union on August 3, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md.
His wife survives along with two children, Donald and Terry, both, at home, and one stepson, Ronald Yocum of Hammond, Ind. There are two step-grand-children. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Miss Apasia Abrashoff of York, Mrs. Nada Rinker of Harrisburg, Asparuk Abrashoff of Mount Union, Victor Abrashoff of Akron, Ohio, Kero Abrashoff of Mount Union, Donald Abrashoff of Altoona and Miss Genievieve Abrashoff of Mt. Hope, W. Va.
He was a veteran of World War II, enlisting on October 21, 1942 at Altoona in the 752nd Railway Operations Battalion and was discharged at Ft. Sam Houston; Tex., on TST, November 19, 1944.
Funeral services will ne held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Clark Funeral home. Interment wlll be made in the Mount Union IOOF Cemetery. The Rev. Albert Haught will officiate. Friends will be received at the funeral home after noon on Wednesday until the hour for the service.
