Jennie was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Buckley. She was the sister to Andrew, John and Mary. Jennie married Arthur Heaney on November 5, 1913 in Queens, New York. They resided in Rochester. She died of 'acute coronary thrombosis' at age 71. The two never had children. Jennie was interred at Mount Hope Cemetery on March 17, 1962.
