Lillian C. Ogden, 90, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 16, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Lillian was born on November 6, 1924 in Cudahay, WI, the daughter of John and Lillian (Campana) Allchin. She was united in marriage to Donald C. Ogden, Sr. on December 28, 1942 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1993. Lillian owned and operated Ogden Air Conditioning and Heating for over 40 years and customers were a big part of her life. She was the proud matriarch of her family. She enjoyed planning and celebrating holidays and family get-togethers especially the 4th of July picnic. She was a staunch Democrat and loved her collies. Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Don) Dau, Donald (Patti) Ogden, Craig (Terrie) Ogden and Denise (Jack) Antle; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great granddaughter, Kara Brown; and two brothers, John and Floyd Allchin.
