The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at Hanes-Lineberry, Vanstory Chapel, with the Rev. Marc Gray officiating. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Carnell was retired from Wrangler Textiles, formerly Blue Bell Corp. after more than 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Eugene (Gene) Carnell who died in May 2001.
Alice is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Dr. Lisa J. Carnell and Carol C. and Steven Myers; brother, Charles Bryan Cox Jr. and his wife, Janice; and nephew, Charles Bryan Cox III and his wife, Erin, all of Greensboro.
