Evelyn Hardinger, 80, of Craig, Mo., died Thursday, February 8, 1990, in the Community Hospital at Fairfax, Mo.

She was born June 20, 1909, on a farm near Craig, and graduated from Craig High School. On April 2, 1951, she was united in marriage to Elmer Hardinger. Following their retirement in May of 1965, the couple lived on the family farm near Craig until September of 1989, when they sold the farm and moved to town.

Mrs. Hardinger was a member of the Victory Hills Presbyterian Church of Kansas City, Kan. She was a beautician for 35 years, having worked in Kansas City, Kan., for 25 years.

Preceding her in death were her father, Bradford M. Taylor, her mother, Margaret (McGinnis) Taylor, a sister, Helen Guilliams and a nephew, Jimmy Guilliams.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer Hardinger; a sister, Donna Leigh Allan and her husband, Kenneth Allan, Craig; two nieces, Rosemary (Guilliams) Barrington, Wichita Falls, Texas and Kenna Rae Allan, Nashville, Tenn.; and a nephew, Dr. Bradford Allan, Minneapolis, Minn.; and several cousins.

Services were conducted by Rev. W.O. "Jack" Yates at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, at the Craig Presbyterian Church.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo.

Pallbearers were Junior Hawkins, Mike Hawkins, Robert McGinnis, Paul Rother, Glen Rother and Greg Rother. Honorary pallbearers were Forrest Johnson, Lewis Foster, Lewis Wickens, Earl heits and Harold Gray.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schooler Funeral Home, Craig, Mo.
The family suggests memorial to the Community Hospital, Fairfax.
