Josephine V. Inserra (nee DiGioacchino), of Brewster, NY, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Born in Newark, NJ and graduated from Westside High School. She was married to Salvatore Inserra on January 12, 1952. She is survived by her husband; sons, Michael, of Colliersville, NY, S. Thomas of Milton, WA, (spouse) Darlene and Joseph of Howell, NJ, (spouse) Marisa and daughter, Mary Cay Nilsen of Brewster, NY, (spouse) Glenn; five grandsons, Jason, S. Thomas, Daniel, Timothy, Joseph Felice and three granddaughters, Jennifer, Rebecca, Lindsey. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister. She is predeceased by her parents, Dominick and Lucy DiGioacchino and brother, Pasquale. After High School, she worked for Prudential Insurance Co., Seton Hall University and The Follet Bookstore at Seton Hall University, retiring in 2003. She lived in Newark until 1961, South Orange, NJ from 1961 until 2003, at which time she moved to Brewster, NY with her spouse, Salvatore. Visiting hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 9, 11 am, at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will be at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY.
