JUDGE WALTER G. CHARLTON



Judge Walter G. Charlton of the Superior Court of Savannah, Ga., died on Tuesday night at his home in that city in his sixty-sixth year. He was born in Savannah, the son of Robert M. Charlton, and was admitted to the bar on Jan. 23, 1873. He was Solicitor General of Georgia from 1880 to 1885, and was appointed to the bench by Governor Hoke Smith on Feb. 11, 1905. Judge Charlton was President of the Georgia Society of the Sons of the Revolution and the Georgia Society of the Cincinnati.
