OAKBORO - Mrs. Peggy Sue Eudy Thompson, 56, of 19169 Fox Trail Road, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8th at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, Rev. Hank Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born August 11, 1947 in Stanly County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lillie Mae Teeter Eudy and Charlie Spencer Eudy, Sr., and a supervisor with American Lockstitch, Norwood.
Survivors are her sons, Kenneth Thompson of Quantico, VA and Michael Thompson of Oakboro; daughter, Sheila Garrett of Clayton; brothers, Bob Eudy of Albemarle, NC, Charlie Spencer Eudy, Jr. of New London, NC, Rick Eudy of Charlotte, NC, Jim Eudy of Richfield, NC, Tom Eudy of New London, NC and Bud Eudy of Gold Hill, NC; sisters, Betty Leonard and Brenda Cody, both of Richfield, NC, Joyce Holland of Concord, and Linda Furr of Oakboro; and 4 grandchildren.
The family will be at her home, 19169 Fox Trail Road, Oakboro.
