Russell L. Siddons, age 85, of 1800 Jefferson Street, Two Rivers, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.Russell was born September 7, 1929 in Chippewa Falls, WI, son of the late Vance and Louise (Hoepner) Siddons. He attended Chippewa Falls High School and is a United States Army veteran, serving in Germany and Korea. He was an extremely proud veteran who was honored to serve his country. On October 26, 1953, he married Betty Hemminger in Stillwater, Minnesota. She preceded him in death on December 27, 2010. Russell was a supervisor at the Mirro Company and for many years Russell drove school bus for the Brandt Bus Company and did maintenance at Fox Hills. He enjoyed communicating on CB - Radio with people all around the world and loved to go hunting and camping. Survivors include five children and their spouses; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members. Russell is further preceded in death by two sons: Larry and Danny Siddons; four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Wanda and Al Nitz, Deanne and Rome Johnson, Char Card, and Shirley and Roland Olson; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Gary and Ellen Siddons and Harrison Siddons; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Marie and Frank Kintigh; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: John and Effie Mae Hemminger. Cremation has occurred. Burial will be at a later date at the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. Published in Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter from March 17, 2015.
