Marvin Edward Bennett, age 72, of Ellijay, GA passed away March 14, 2015. Funeral Services were held at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City.
A native of Smyrna, Mr. Bennett moved to Ellijay ten years ago. He retired after a long career as a Master Brick Mason and was a member of East West Church in Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his step-father Olin Anglin. Survivors include his wife Beverly Bennett; children Marvin Bennett, Jr., Sharpsburg, GA, Ronald Bennett, Newnan, GA and Nakia Bennett, Ellijay, GA; siblings Johnny Anglin, Marietta, GA, Bill Anglin, Marietta, GA, Al Anglin, Carrollton, GA, Pete Anglin, Carrollton, GA, and Alisha Johnson, Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren Alex Craig, Jordan Bennett, Ally Bennett, Alli Craig, Kevin Bennett and Ashlynn Bennett.
