Darlene L. Cramsey, 89, of Elgin went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, March 16 at Presence Resurrection Hospital, Chicago. She was born June 3, 1925 in Elgin the daughter of Otto and Cora Berlin Bauer. She had been a resident of Elgin all of her life and was a graduate of Elgin High School. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Schaumburg and Moose Lodge 610. Surviving are her 4 children, Cinda (Pete) Burgert, Barbara (Greg) Keck, Tim (Verlene) Holloway and Mark (Tracy) Holloway, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 step children, Barbara Campbell, David (Jeanne) Cramsey, Kathy (Larry) Seyller and Donna (Pat) Boeckh, 10 step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great grandchildren and her companion and friend of 25 years, Frank Emerson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James A. Holloway, second husband, Arthur “Jim” Cramsey, an infant son James Dale Holloway, granddaughter, Melissa “Nikki” Pierce and her brother, Otto F. Bauer. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 A.M. at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
