Harry J. Novak, age 73, a Two Rivers resident, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
He was born on March 10, 1942 in Manitowoc, son of the late Michael Novak and Grace (Metzger) Mauer. At the age of 15 he joined the United States Army. In 1961 he married the former Bertha Lee Hollingsworth in Augusta, GA. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2013. Harry was employed at Hamilton Industries where he drove a forklift, retiring in 2004. He was an avid fisherman and was always hunting for treasures.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Burt Silbersack, Manitowoc; a son: Michael J. Novak, Pickerel, WI; and one grandson: Craig (Cassie) Suettinger, Madison. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Bertha Lee; and a sister-in-law: Patricia German.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Harry will be laid to rest at a later date.
