Ruth M. Antrim, age 99 of Chesterton, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Michigan City. She was born on November 27, 1915 in Randolph County to Carl and Mary Graves-Tucker, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters: Joyce (Don) Snider of Tampa, FL and Phoebe Jane House of Chesterton; her grandchildren: Michael (Joan) Hollowell, Vicki (Tony) Lentz, David (Tina) Hollowell, Chuck (Wendy) Hollowell, Lori (Pete) Serrano, all of the Tampa, FL area, and Amy (Rob) Borg of Valparaiso; along with her eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her husbands: Henry, Harold and James, and by her siblings: Mildred, Mary and Joe.

Ruth was a telephone operator and worked the switchboard for the General Telephone Company for many years.

Ruth was a member of the Nazarene Church. She enjoyed music and loved singing in the choir. She was an avid college basketball fan and enjoyed watching the Cubs when the basketball season was over. Ruth loved animals and always had a dog around the house.

I am V-P of FPC Bd., I researched this and our books show that Ruth is buried with a previous husband Harold.Dodd. The name Antrim is not on the monument.
