Esther Jackson Wallace finished her earthly experience on March 15, 2015 surrounded by loving family.

Samuel Andrew and Iretta Woolley Jackson gifted her with life on June 14, 1927 in their unfinished cabin in Emigration Canyon. She was the youngest of twelve children.

She graduated from East High School (happy carefree days) and attended the University of Utah.

Life for her was enriched through her marriage to Earl Moroni Wallace of Provo in 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her greatest joy came through being a career homemaker, wife, and mother to five sons and one daughter.

Life was exciting for her as she served in church and community service, loved the outdoors, and worked in the garden.

She became a much-loved piano teacher and was a member of the Salt Lake Utah Chapter Music Teachers' Association.

She served as a Den Leader for years in the Cub Scout program and was a favorite amongst the boys. She and Earl served as directors of the Mesa, Arizona Temple Visitor's Center. She served as a Political Party District chair.

She is remembered for the many kind notes she wrote to others, her smile, her laughter, and her positive encouragement.

Esther is survived by her husband, Earl; her six children, Lane (Rhonda) Columbus, Ohio; Brent (Julie) Mountain Green; Dale (Connie) Cedar City; George (Debi) Hauula, Hawaii; Wendy Brewster (Steve); Sandy; and Harlan (Karin) Holladay; twenty-six grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother and father, eleven siblings, and son-in-law, Steve.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holladay Tenth Ward Chapel, 4601 South Chapel Street (2564 East). A viewing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, and at the church on the day of the services from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
