J. Annette Wright, 79, loving wife, mother, friend, and awesome grandma died from complications of PSP on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She passed peacefully in her daughter’s home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born March 3, 1936 in Ogden, Utah to Amos Joyce and Norma L Moore Maycock.

Annette received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Utah State University. She taught in the Weber School District for 34 years. She loved her students and they loved her. While at Utah State, she met her husband Amos Michael Wright. They were married July 18, 1958 in the Logan LDS Temple. They moved to Pleasant View in 1964, where they raised four children.

Annette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Mike served in the New Hampshire, Manchester Mission at the Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial. She also served as an ordinance worker at the Ogden LDS Temple. She had a strong testimony and love for her Savior and the Gospel.

She loved her family! Out of the many titles she held, Grandma was her favorite. She threw the best family parties, didn’t love charades but played anyways, and was a champion water-weenie rider with the grandkids. She loved chocolate and ice cream, but most of all her ten grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mike, daughter Angie, and parents.

She will be greatly missed by her children; Kathy (Drew) Miller, Kristynn (Tom) Runyan, and Douglas Wright. Her grandkids, Megan, Jared (Jacqueline), Matthew (Kristen), Jenessa (Neil), Mandie (Colby), Lindsey (Jeff), Nathan, Tanner, Shae, and Hailee; 7.3 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Although we will miss her very much, we are happy she has her smile back!
